Linen painted patchwork panel curtain – made from a found set of painted tablc runners originally used for an event – once washed this gave a incidental rustic quality to the paint panels and the selvedges, giving the over all desired modern rustic effect.
Photocopied fabric panels appliqued too an over dyed linen curtain, creating a quite grand antique looking piece.
Dyed and block painted upholstered 1960’s chairs, the use of colour blocking flattered the sleek & modern design of these chairs.

Natural dyes.
I have recently started experimenting with natural dyes, these vats are avocado stones which gives a lovely pink and does not need a fixant and blueberry with an iron mordant that turns it from quite a pink purple to quite blue.
Painted patchwork cushion & painted ticking blind.
Patchwork cushions made from remnants & painted sections and painted stripes on plain linen to create a ticking- made into an informal blind, both for Annie Sloan Interiors.
